AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTION STRUCTURE Agricultural and Horticultural Production Structure Web Service
The service provides information on the development of the production structure of agriculture and horticulture.
The results are based on Luke's extended Structural Statistics of Agricultural and Horticultural Enterprises. The data also include the smallest agricultural and horticultural enterprises with a Standard Output (SO) value of less than EUR 2,000. Service activities include harness racing, riding, and stable operations, which are not agricultural activities. However, these farms are included in the data because they produce other agricultural and horticultural products and may also have other farm animals. Livestock units generated by horses are included in the analysis, but horses are excluded when calculating the economic farm size and production line of farms.
The service displays the numbers of agricultural and horticultural enterprises, SO values in euros, hectares, livestock units, and the ratio of livestock units to cultivated hectares for years selected by the user from the 2000s.
Results can be displayed either as averages per farm or as totals for the selected group.
Results can be examined using different regional classifications, production line classifications, and farm size classifications.
Using the Own Criteria -button in the user interface, users can select any period from the 2000s and freely combine up to two additional classification variables from the available classifications.
All tables provided by the service are generated in real time.
The service is available in Finnish, Swedish, and English.
