Key figures deflated
The aim is to condense the information contained in the income statements and balance sheets of the profitability bookkeeping farms into a few key figures that describe the enterprise's result, profitability, solvency, and liquidity.
Inflation, i.e., the decrease in the purchasing power of money, can be taken into account in the "Own Criteria" section. There, all result reports can be deflated to the price level of a selected base year using the consumer price index.
Deflation makes the figures from different years comparable.
