AGRICULTURE AND HORTICULTURE
The service provides average results describing the finances and production process of different types of agricultural and horticultural enterprises from the year 2000 onwards.
The results are based on Luke's enterprise-specific FADN / profitability bookkeeping data, which currently includes approximately 650 enterprises practicing agriculture and horticulture annually. The results are weighted to depict the results of all Finnish agricultural and horticultural enterprises with an economic farm size of over 15,000 SO euros.
The service consists of two parts:
1. Various time series of key economic indicators, organized by region and farm type, dating back to 2015, as well as key economic calculations in a condensed format.
2. In the "Own Criteria" section (by clicking this button), the user can select the desired report and up to four classification factors, based on which the system calculates average and dispersion results for the defined farm groups.
All variables in the report can be broken down by arable land, livestock units, etc. Variables can also be deflated to the price level of any desired year. Farms can be further divided into different "strong" and "weak" groups, deciles, or variable categories based on a few variables. All results are calculated as weighted averages, and the tables are generated in real time.
